Overview
EN 1092-1 Type 01 Plate Flange is a flat plate welding flange manufactured in accordance with the European standard EN 1092-1, issued by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
It is designed to be welded directly to steel pipes and bolted to a mating flange using a gasket to form a secure and leak-tight connection.
Type 01 plate flanges are widely used due to their simple structure, cost efficiency, and reliable performance in low to medium pressure piping systems.

Flat Plate Design
Simple construction with excellent cost-performance ratio.
Compliance with EN 1092-1
Dimensions, bolt holes, bolt circle, and thickness strictly follow the EN standard.
Welding-Type Connection
Typically connected to pipes by fillet welding, ensuring stable installation.
Wide Material Selection
Carbon Steel: P235GH, S235JR, P265GH
Stainless Steel: 1.4301 (304), 1.4404 (316L)
Multiple Pressure Ratings
Available in PN6, PN10, PN16, PN25, and PN40.
EN 1092-1 Type 01 Plate Flanges are commonly used in:
Fire protection piping systems
Industrial piping systems
Water supply and HVAC systems
Oil, gas, and petrochemical applications
Pumps, valves, and equipment connections
The flange is welded to the pipe, usually by fillet welding.
Ensure the pressure rating, size, and gasket type match the system requirements.
Bolts should be tightened evenly in a cross (diagonal) pattern to ensure proper sealing.

FAQ
Q1: What are the common types of flanges you supply?
A: We supply a wide range of forged steel flanges, including Blind Flange, Weld Neck Flange, Slip On Flange, Socket Weld Flange, Threaded Flange, and Lap Joint Flange, all conforming to international standards like ANSI/ASME B16.5 and EN1092-1.
Q2: What materials are available for your flanges?
A: We offer flanges in various materials such as Carbon Steel (A105), Stainless Steel (SS304, SS316), and Alloy Steel (F11, F22, etc.). Material customization is available based on project requirements.
Q3: What standards and pressure classes do you support?
A: Our flanges conform to standards including ANSI/ASME B16.5, EN 1092-1, and DIN. Pressure classes range from Class 150 to 2500 (ANSI) and PN6 to PN100 (EN/DIN).
Q4: Do you provide sealing face options like RF or RTJ?
A: Yes. We offer Raised Face (RF), Flat Face (FF), and Ring Type Joint (RTJ) sealing surfaces depending on pressure, sealing performance, and customer requirements.
Q5: What surface treatments are available?
A: Surface treatments include anti-rust oil, black painting, galvanizing, yellow transparent varnish, and custom coatings for corrosive environments.
Q6: Can you provide certificates and test reports?
A: Yes. We provide MTC (EN10204 3.1/3.2), as well as ISO, CE, FM/UL certificates (depending on product type). Third-party inspections like SGS, BV, and TUV are also available.
Q7: What is your typical production lead time?
A: For standard flanges, lead time is usually 30–35 days. For urgent needs or large volumes, we can offer fast-track production based on stock and raw material availability.
Q8: Do you accept OEM branding or customized packaging?
A: Yes. We support OEM logo stamping, custom labels, and export packaging with your brand or specifications.
Q9: Can I request a sample before confirming an order?
A: Absolutely. We are happy to provide free or paid samples for quality inspection, depending on the product type and destination.
