Overview – M&F Socket (Malleable Iron Threaded Socket)
An M&F socket (male × female socket) is a threaded malleable iron pipe fitting designed to connect a male-threaded pipe to a female-threaded pipe or component within a piping system. By combining internal and external threads in one fitting, it provides a compact and reliable connection solution. M&F sockets are widely used in water supply, fire protection, gas, HVAC, and general industrial piping systems.

Manufactured from high-quality malleable iron, M&F sockets offer excellent mechanical strength, toughness, and resistance to pressure and impact. The fitting features one male threaded end and one female threaded end, produced in accordance with international thread standards to ensure secure, leak-tight connections and full compatibility with standard threaded pipes and components.
Available in black or galvanized finish, M&F sockets are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Male × female threaded design: Allows direct connection between pipes or fittings with different thread genders
Compact structure: Reduces installation space and minimizes the number of fittings required
High-strength malleable iron: Provides durability, vibration resistance, and long service life
Standardized threads: Ensures excellent sealing performance and easy installation
Multiple surface finishes: Black or hot-dip galvanized options for corrosion protection
M&F sockets are primarily used to extend pipelines, adjust connection direction, or convert thread types without changing pipe size. The threaded design enables quick assembly and disassembly, making them ideal for both new installations and maintenance work.
Typical applications include:
Water supply and plumbing systems
Fire sprinkler and fire protection piping
Gas and compressed air pipelines
HVAC installations
General industrial fluid conveying systems
