Overview
Gate valves are widely used as shut-off valves in fire protection, water supply, HVAC, municipal waterworks, and industrial piping systems. They are designed to fully open or fully close the pipeline flow, providing reliable isolation and low flow resistance when the valve is in the fully open position.
MaitoLead gate valves are available in different designs, including NRS gate valves, OS&Y gate valves, resilient seated gate valves, flanged gate valves, grooved gate valves, and post indicator gate valves. They can be supplied according to international standards such as EN1171, EN1092-2, ISO 7005-2, AWWA C515, AWWA C509, ASME B16.42, AWWA C606, and EN12266.
With a ductile iron body, resilient EPDM wedge, stainless steel or bronze stem options, and high-quality epoxy coating, our gate valves are suitable for reliable operation in demanding pipeline systems. FM approved and UL listed options are available for fire protection applications.
1,NRS Gate Valve
NRS means Non-Rising Stem. The stem does not move upward when the valve is opened or closed, making it suitable for installations with limited vertical space, such as underground pipelines, valve chambers, pump rooms, and compact piping systems.
Common types include:
Flanged NRS Gate Valve
Grooved NRS Gate Valve
Resilient Seated NRS Gate Valve
Post Indicator NRS Gate Valve
2. OS&Y Gate Valve
OS&Y means Outside Screw and Yoke. The stem rises when the valve is opened, allowing users to visually identify whether the valve is open or closed. OS&Y gate valves are commonly used in fire protection systems where valve position monitoring is important.
Common types include:
Flanged OS&Y Gate Valve
Grooved OS&Y Gate Valve
Resilient Seated OS&Y Gate Valve
Fire Protection OS&Y Gate Valve
3. Resilient Seated Gate Valve
Resilient seated gate valves use an EPDM-covered wedge to provide tight sealing performance. Compared with traditional metal seated gate valves, they offer better sealing, lower operating torque, and improved corrosion resistance.
Product Description
The Resilient Seated NRS Gate Valve features a simple structure, low operating torque, reliable sealing performance, and a smooth
straight-through flow channel.
Its internal and external surfaces are coated with high-quality epoxy powder for excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. The valve is suitable for water supply, fire protection, HVAC, and industrial piping systems.
