Overview
Grooved Pipe Caps are essential components used to close the ends of grooved piping systems, providing a secure and pressure-resistant termination. Designed for quick installation and reliable sealing, these caps protect the pipeline, isolate sections, and ensure system integrity in various industrial and commercial applications.
Product Description
Grooved Pipe Caps feature a mechanical grooved end that allows for fast and easy installation without welding or threading. They are primarily used with couplings and fittings to safely seal off open pipe ends. The blind plate design enables full isolation of the pipeline, preventing leaks and ensuring system reliability. Rated for pressures up to 300 PSI, these caps are constructed to withstand standard operating conditions while providing durable and long-lasting performance.

FAQ
Q1: What is the primary purpose of a grooved pipe cap?
A: To close off open pipe ends and provide full isolation in a grooved piping system.
Q2: Can grooved pipe caps handle high pressure?
A: Yes. They are rated for pressures up to 300 PSI (20.7 bar).
Q3: Does installation require welding or threading?
A: No. The grooved end allows for mechanical installation using standard couplings.
Q4: Where are these caps typically used?
A: In fire protection, HVAC, industrial water supply, and maintenance or retrofit applications.
Q5: Can these caps be used for temporary isolation?
A: Yes. They are suitable for both temporary and permanent pipeline isolation.
