Overview
The Deluge Valve is a normally closed control valve designed for use in deluge fire protection systems. It operates through electric, pneumatic, or manual actuation to rapidly release water into open sprinkler or spray nozzles when a fire is detected.
Featuring a straight-through cone diaphragm sealing structure, the valve provides reliable self-sealing performance, fast response, and stable operation. Once activated, the valve opens automatically, allowing water to flow in one direction into the system while simultaneously initiating alarm devices.
The Deluge Valve adopts a straight-through cone diaphragm seal, utilizing the self-sealing characteristics of the cone structure to ensure tight closure under normal conditions.
When pressure in the diaphragm chamber is released by electric, pneumatic, or manual activation, the valve disc opens instantly. Water then flows freely into the downstream fire protection system, supplying sprinklers or spray nozzles and activating alarm devices at the same time.
The valve can be integrated with various detection, control, and alarm components to form multiple types of deluge alarm and firefighting systems. Grooved end connections are available, and the valve may be supplied with or without control valves depending on system requirements.

FAQ
A deluge valve controls the rapid release of water into a fire protection system when activated by a detection or manual control signal.
The valve remains closed under normal conditions. When pressure in the diaphragm chamber is released through electric, pneumatic, or manual means, the valve opens automatically.
It uses a straight-through cone diaphragm seal, providing excellent self-sealing and reliable operation.
Yes. The deluge valve can be ordered with or without control valves depending on system design requirements.
It is used in deluge systems, spray systems, foam-water systems, and other special fire protection systems requiring rapid water discharge.
The valve is designed to operate in environments with ambient temperatures between 4℃ and 52℃.
