Overview
The Cap with Concentric Hole is a specialized piping component designed to seal pipe ends while allowing controlled flow or access through a central hole. It provides both isolation and functionality in systems requiring partial flow, measurement, or instrumentation connections, combining the benefits of a standard pipe cap with precision porting.
Product Description
This fitting features a grooved or mechanical end for fast installation and a precisely machined central hole. The concentric hole enables the integration of gauges, sampling devices, or pressure relief components, while the outer cap securely closes the remaining pipe area. Rated for standard system pressures, it ensures reliable sealing, reduces leak risk, and allows for easy maintenance or measurement installation without modifying the pipeline.

| 1.Take out the Rigid &Flexible Coupling Clean the gasket sealing surface within 16mm of the hole and visually inspect the sealing surface for defects that may prevent proper sealing of the gasket.Don't drill the hole on weld line. | 2.Split the Rigid &Flexible Coupling If any burrs or slug exists at the pipe hole, please remove them before assembly,to protect the gasket and avoid leakage. | 3.Pipe preparation Insert the gasket into outlet housing making sure the tab in the gasket line up with the tab recesses in the housing.Align outlet housing over the pipe hole making sure that the locating collar is in the pipe hole. | 4.Lubricate gasket Align the strap around the pipe, inser the bolts and tighten the nuts finger tight. | |||||

FAQ
Q1: What is the purpose of the concentric hole in the cap?
A: The central hole allows installation of gauges, sampling ports, or controlled flow devices while keeping the remaining pipe securely sealed.
Q2: Can it handle high-pressure systems?
A: Yes, it is designed to maintain sealing under standard operating pressures, typically matching those of grooved piping systems.
Q3: Does it require welding?
A: No. The mechanical or grooved end allows installation without welding or threading.
Q4: Where is this cap typically applied?
A: In fire protection, HVAC, industrial piping, and mechanical systems requiring measurement, monitoring, or sampling.
Q5: Can it be used for both temporary and permanent installations?
A: Yes. It provides reliable sealing and controlled access for both permanent and temporary setups.
