Product Description
Dimensions follow AWWA C606 groove requirements and fitting pressure capability conforms to the installed coupling’s rating (size-dependent). Gasket options include EPDM for water service and NBR for oils/fuels. Finishes are available in orange paint or hot-dip galvanized for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Sizes: DN25–DN300 (1″–12″) standard; larger diameters may be available upon request. Industry catalogs commonly cover from ¾″ up to 24″, with elbows offered in 11.25°, 22.5°, 45° and 90° variants. Working pressure is determined by the coupling series and pipe schedule. Please refer to your coupling’s table for the exact rating per size.

Main production process

The 22.5 Degree Elbow is designed to provide a gentle and controlled change of pipeline direction, making it an ideal solution where a small deflection angle is required instead of a sharp turn.
Fire protection systems
Commonly used in sprinkler and fire main pipelines to fine-tune routing while maintaining stable flow and pressure. FM approved and UL certified versions meet fire system requirements.
Grooved piping systems
Widely applied in grooved pipe installations where precise alignment and modular assembly are required.
Main pipeline direction adjustment
Often installed between two straight pipe sections to achieve gradual direction changes, reducing stress and turbulence compared to larger-angle elbows.
Industrial and municipal pipelines
Suitable for water supply, industrial process piping, and utility systems operating up to 300 PSI.
Space-constrained installations
Ideal where layout restrictions prevent the use of 45° or 90° elbows, allowing smoother routing with minimal impact on flow.
A 22.5 degree elbow is used to change the direction of a pipeline slightly, offering smoother flow transition and better alignment compared to sharper-angle elbows.
22.5°: Small, gradual direction change, lower flow resistance
45°: Moderate direction change
90°: Sharp direction change
The 22.5° elbow is preferred when precision routing and reduced stress are required.
This elbow is manufactured from ductile cast iron (ASTM A536 65-45-12), offering excellent strength, durability, and impact resistance.
Available sizes: 2″ – 12″
Working pressure: Up to 300 PSI, suitable for most fire protection and industrial piping systems.
