Overview
The Wet Hydrant, also known as a Wet Barrel Fire Hydrant, is a fire protection water outlet designed for use in regions where freezing conditions do not occur. In this design, the hydrant barrel and valve remain continuously filled with pressurized water, allowing immediate water discharge when the hydrant is opened.
Manufactured in accordance with recognized fire protection standards and approved by UL and FM, wet hydrants provide rapid, reliable access to firefighting water for municipal, commercial, and industrial fire protection systems.
The Wet Hydrant is designed for permanent connection to a pressurized water supply, with the main valve located above ground. All internal components remain filled with water during normal operation, ensuring instant water flow upon opening.
This hydrant features a robust body construction, standardized inlet and outlet connections, and corrosion-resistant protective coatings suitable for long-term outdoor installation. Multiple outlet configurations are available, including pumper and hose nozzles, to meet various firefighting requirements.

Faq
A wet hydrant is a fire hydrant in which the barrel and valve are always filled with pressurized water.
They are suitable for areas where ambient temperatures remain above freezing throughout the year.
No. Unlike dry barrel hydrants, wet hydrants do not require an internal drainage system.
Yes. Water flows instantly when the hydrant is opened.
