Product Description
The reducers are often used when the piping designers want to reduce the diameter of a straight run of pipe. There are two styles of standard reducers available in: Concentric – having a common centerline; Eccentric reducer – having offset centerlines.

Industry applications: oil and gas, chemical industry, food processing, pharmaceuticals, construction, energy, etc. Standard drawing of Straight Tee & Cross. **NPS: Nominal Pipe Size; O.D L: Outside Diameter at Bevel, large end; O.D S: Outside Diameter at Bevel, small end; H: Center-to-End. Manufacturing Process of Stainless Steel Butt-Welding Fittings 1、Material Selection: Choose appropriate stainless steel grades like 304, 316, or 316L, based on corrosion resistance and temperature requirements. 2、Cutting and Shaping: Cut the pipes or sheets to the required lengths and shapes. For fittings like elbows and tees, use molding or bending processes. 3、Preparation: Clean the surfaces of fittings and pipes to remove oil, rust, and other contaminants. Ensure precise alignment before welding. 4、Welding: Use TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) or MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding methods. Set the right welding parameters (temperature, speed, current) to ensure strong, high-quality welds. 5、Post-Welding Treatment: Remove slag and oxide from the weld area, then perform heat treatment or annealing to relieve stress and improve the strength of the weld. 6、Quality Control: Inspect the welds visually and with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like X-rays or ultrasonic tests to ensure no internal defects. 7、Packaging and Shipping: Once approved, package the fittings carefully to avoid damage during transportation. Installation Precautions for Stainless Steel Butt-Welding Fittings 1、Proper Alignment: Ensure fittings and pipes are correctly aligned before welding to avoid misalignment during installation. 2、Clean Environment: Perform welding in a clean, dry environment, free from contaminants like dust or moisture, to ensure high-quality welds. 3、Welding Temperature Control: Avoid overheating the material during welding to prevent issues like grain growth or weakening of the stainless steel. 4、Welding Sequence: Follow a proper welding sequence to minimize stress and distortion. Start from the ends and move toward the center. 5、Post-Welding Inspection: After welding, check the welds for defects like cracks, voids, or undercuts. Use non-destructive testing methods if necessary. 6、Pipe Support: Ensure the pipes are properly supported to prevent sagging or deformation during installation. Use clamps or brackets for secure mounting. 7、Pressure Testing: After installation, conduct pressure tests to ensure the system’s integrity and leak-free performance. 8、Corrosion Prevention: Periodically inspect and clean the welds to avoid corrosion, and apply protective coatings if exposed to harsh environments. |
